Company Timeline

1978

Morris Weiser establishes Vistatech, a global distribution powerhouse for brand watches and electronics.

1980s

Vistatech continually leads in sales volume of Casio timepieces among all US distributors.

1997

Vistatech achieves 20-year milestone as market leader for Casio calculators, electronic organizers, musical instruments, audio equipment, digital cameras, and cash registers.

1998

Vistatech wins sole, exclusive distribution rights of G-Shock® and Baby-G® watch lines for independent watch and jewelry channels.

1999

Vistatech hits 22-year milestones as largest distributor of Texas Instruments calculators, computers, and learning aids.

2000

Newly formed Paradox joins the Vistatech group as a fresh, dedicated US sales network for upscale watch boutiques and traditional jewelry stores.

Early 2000s

In partnership with Sharp Latin America Group (LAG), Vistatech builds dominant fax machine business in South America and the Far East.

2001

The Kenneth Cole watch line joins the Paradox fray, broadening the company catalog’s genre reach.

2003

Paradox welcomes the Swiss Army line of Wenger watches.

2010s

Paradox achieves highest watch sales turnover of all Casio USA’s accounts + highest sales figures of all distributors and agents worldwide.

2015

Paradox unveils all-new licensed watch brand under iconic Alfred Sung label, with a total of 148 styles featuring a reserved sense of style and refined aesthetic.

2017

Garmin chooses Paradox as its exclusive distributor of the powerful Garmin smartwatch line.

2018

Paradox partners with Wrangler to develop a timepiece collection true to Wrangler’s place as steward of western lifestyle.
