SUPER SLIM HIGH SPEC CHRONOGRAPH
WITH FLAT DESIGN CONCEPT

Introducing a new model that features a smartphone link and the thinnest design in the series.
With this model, the engineers have achieved a slim design of just 8.9 mm, despite the multiple hands in the chronograph and the inclusion of high-spec functionality such as Bluetooth® and Tough Solar.
The reductions in thickness have been accomplished by incorporating high-density, one-sided mounting technology and further reductions in the thickness of the module parts.

DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY

8.9 mm slim case and flat design concept

The case is just 8.9 mm thick, despite incorporating functionality such as multi-hand display, Bluetooth®, and Tough Solar (the previous model has 13.1 mm thick). This model features a blue-green colouration using a flat design oriented around high-tech colors.

Technologies for reductions in thickness

To achieve 0.01 mm level reductions in thickness, new mounting technologies and improvements in construction including tiny parts were pursued. Compared to the previous model, the overall thickness has been reduced by 30% (a total reduction of 1.41 mm).

Last lap indicator

Link with the dedicated app measures race car lap times at circuits. The in-dial display indicates the difference between the current lap time and the previous lap time, in the range from −5 to +1 seconds. This function helps users to follow race conditions that change each lap.

In-dial solar panel

Further improvements in the shadow dispersing solar panel by optimizing solar cell shapes to improve power generation efficiency and make it possible to generate sufficient power using only the light received through the dial areas of the face.

Sapphire crystal

The watch uses sapphire crystal, which has high transparency and is hard to scratch, ensuring that the watch remains easy to read.

Dual Time

Simultaneous display of Home Time and World Time for another city on the main dial and a small inset dial. The displayed times can be switched with the push of a button.

Tough Solar

This original solar power system transforms even weak light from sources such as fluorescent lamps into ample energy to provide stable operation of various high-load functions.

Smartphone Link

Linking the watch to a smartphone provides access to the correct time, not only in the current location but over 300 cities around the world. Alarm setting and control over various other functions from the smartphone enhance operability to an unprecedented high level.
