Introducing a new Honda Racing collaboration model to mark the 20th anniversary of the EDIFICE high-performance metal chronograph timepiece.
Honda, who provides the power unit of the Scuderia AlphaTauri Formula 1 team, and EDIFICE are Japanese brands that are constantly meeting the challenges of motor sports on a global scale. This watch is the third variation of an EDIFICE and Honda Racing collaboration that got its start in 2018.
This model dresses up the new Smart Phone Link ECB-10 in the red and black of the Honda F1 uniform, and gold lettering that celebrates the 20th anniversary of the EDIFICE model. The 20 on the bezel is also printed in red to mark the anniversary. The Honda Racing logo decorates the carbon fiber face, while the Honda logo appears on the band ring. The Honda logo and EDIFICE 20th anniversary logo are engraved on the case back.
Bluetooth® linking with a smartphone ensures accurate timekeeping, and even changes the time zone setting automatically when you travel. Features such as these are essential to Honda F1 crew members who need access to current accurate timekeeping as they travel the globe. Team members also need to closely coordinate their schedules during races, which is facilitated by this model’s ability to link with the calendar app of a phone. The watch shows a countdown to the next event and also counts down the time remaining until the end of a currently ongoing event. An LED light illuminates the face of the watch whenever you angle your wrist towards for face, which keeps displayed information easy to read even in the dark environments where engineers and mechanics often find themselves working. Everything about this watch has been designed and engineered to support the Honda F1 crew, and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of EDIFICE.
